Hello@joanneflatt.co.uk

Joanne Flatt is a qualified counsellor, hypnotherapist and hypnobirthing practitioner. She supports individuals who feel anxious, overwhelmed or stressed to feel calmer, more confident and more at ease. With experience supporting new mums with the emotional demands of parenting in local children’s centres, and additional training in perinatal mental health, Joanne works with women at all stages of motherhood — from pregnancy through to parenting older children. She particularly supports those carrying the heavy invisible mental load, overthinking and worrying, doubting themselves, or trying to parent differently from how they were raised. Joanne offers 1:1 hypnobirthing support for those wanting to feel calmer, more prepared and more confident as they approach birth. She also provides hypnotherapy for fears and phobias, helping clients gently reduce anxiety responses and feel more in control. With lived experience of neurodivergence, Joanne also supports Autistic individuals and people with ADHD — whether formally diagnosed, self-identifying, or exploring the possibility. Joanne has experience supporting individuals who have experienced unhealthy, controlling or emotionally harmful relationships, including survivors of domestic abuse. She works in a trauma-aware, non-judgemental way, supporting clients to rebuild trust in themselves, strengthen boundaries, and make sense of relationship patterns at their own pace. Working with Joanne offers a gentle space to explore your inner world and reconnect with who you are — or who you’re becoming. She supports clients in unpacking patterns, building self-understanding, and learning to manage anxiety and overwhelm with compassion. Joanne helps people feel grounded, validated and more confident in themselves, whether they are navigating anxiety and stress, low self-esteem, parenthood, neurodivergence, fears or phobias, or challenging family or relationship dynamics, offering a steady presence as they move at their own pace.

"I cannot express enough gratitude for the experience. Their empathetic guidance and practical insights empowered me to navigate challenges with resilience. It was a supportive, non-judgmental space, blending professionalism with genuine care"
